Phase 1: Pre-Construction & Technical Evaluation

Estimation & Value Engineering: We utilize advanced digital takeoff software to provide precise, transparent material estimates while identifying strategic value-engineering opportunities to protect budgets without sacrificing performance.
Submittal Management: We accelerate the technical submittal process, ensuring all specified materials, adhesives, formulas, and coatings meet strict project guidelines, architectural intent, and local code compliance.

Phase 2: Concrete Diagnostics & Moisture Mitigation

Subfloor moisture and elevated alkalinity are the leading causes of commercial flooring failures. At Dixie Contract, we treat concrete testing as a mandatory technical milestone, not an afterthought.

Scientific Testing: We conduct rigorous testing for Relative Humidity (RH) using in-situ probes and measure Moisture Vapor Emission Rate (MVER) strictly according to current ASTM standards.
Moisture Mitigation: If elevated moisture levels are detected, we engineer and install specialized epoxy vapor-barrier primers and alkali-resistant underlayments to completely isolate the finished floor from the slab.

Phase 3: Mechanical Surface Preparation

We never rely on superficial patching or shortcuts. We prepare substrates mechanically to achieve a permanent, unyielding bond.

Advanced Equipment: Utilizing industrial, dust-controlled diamond grinders and shot-blasting equipment, we clean the slab and establish the exact Concrete Surface Profile (CSP) mandated by material manufacturers.
Slab Remediation: Our field crews expertly apply self-leveling underlayments, crack-suppression membranes, and deep joint treatments to transform imperfect structural concrete into a perfectly flat, stable substrate.

Phase 4: Skilled Installation & Project Hand-Off

Manufacturer Compliance: Every layout pattern, adhesive flash time, and seam weld is executed strictly according to manufacturer specifications to fully protect all material warranties.
